Tata 24" × 72" Top & Bottom Open Iron Removal Filtration Plant is a heavy-duty water treatment system designed to remove dissolved iron, suspended solids, turbidity, and unpleasant taste and odor from groundwater. The system is suitable for residential societies, commercial establishments, industries, schools, hospitals, hotels, and agricultural applications requiring a filtration capacity of 4,000–6,000 liters per hour (LPH).
The filter vessel is manufactured using high-quality Tata mild steel (MS), ensuring excellent mechanical strength, durability, and long service life. The vessel is internally lined with anti-corrosive coating and externally painted with industrial-grade epoxy or enamel paint for enhanced corrosion resistance.
Raw borewell water enters the filtration vessel through the inlet. The water passes through specially selected iron removal media where dissolved iron is oxidized and retained within the filter bed. Suspended particles are trapped in the graded media layers while clean, iron-free water exits through the outlet. Periodic backwashing removes accumulated contaminants and restores filter efficiency.
This iron removal filtration plant is engineered to provide efficient, long-lasting performance for medium-scale water treatment applications, ensuring clean, clear, and iron-free water with minimal maintenance.
